Jan. '15 mission trip to Haiti preparations

We are making preparations for next mission trip to cap hatian, Haiti. We fly out of Evansville Monday Jan. 12 and arrive Tuesday 13th. This post is to assure we have blog functioning effectively. We ask u to pray for us that the Lord provide for all our needs and that we function entirely in his will. May we minister in his will completely. Happy new year to everyone. thanks Emil

Fridays Activities

Cesarean Philippi Peter confessed Jesus as Son of God. Tel Dan - saw gate of Jeroboam. Next Gideon Springs where Gideon code his men. Then we went to Be it She an where King Saul body was hung on the wall by Philistines. Drive to Jerusalem.

Thursday Activities

1st stop-Caesarea on the Mediterranean. City where Herod created the harbor, ampetheatre & Hepidrone. This is where Paul witnessed to King Agrippa. We saw part of a 12 mile aqueduct the Romans built to bring fresh water Mt Carmel. Next we went to Megiddo where are 26 layers of development - city upon city. We could see the entire valley of Megiddo where Armagedon will occur.  3rd stop was Mt Carmel where Elijah prayed & God defeated 450 prophets of Baal with fire from heaven. The last stop was Yardenit, for a Jordan River baptism. Afterward we went to a place that cuts and finishes diamonds.  The supply 65% of the diamonds in the world.

Wednesday's activities

Sunrise on Sea of Galilee. Mt. Of Beatitudes at Tabgah. Capernum saw synagog and Peter's house where Jesus healed Peter's mother - n - law and the paralyzed man. Road a fishing boat on Sea of Galilee. Saw where Jesus turned water in to wine at the wedding. In Nazareth we saw a church built over the spring where Mary, mother of Jesus, drew water. Went to a replica of the Village of Nazareth as it would have been when Jesus lived there. Also saw an olive Grove with a working wine and olive press.
